We discuss the schedule with you and put it in your proposal. A larger or steeper roof, damaged wood, material deliveries, permits, or rain can change the timing. Your on-site supervisor keeps you updated as the job moves along.
TexaShield can inspect and document visible roof damage, prepare a repair estimate, and discuss that estimate and roofing technical information with an insurer or its adjuster. TexaShield does not adjust, negotiate, or settle insurance claims or advise on coverage. The insurer decides coverage.
Your roof’s size and steepness, the materials you choose, removal of the old roof, wood repairs, flashing, ventilation, and permits all affect the price. Your written estimate lists the products and included work, plus any allowance for replacing damaged wood. Gutter replacement and other separately priced work are identified before you approve the project.
Yes, financing options are available. Ask our team about current options, eligibility, and written terms before you decide. Approval and terms depend on the financing provider.
Ask about our 10-year limited leak-free workmanship warranty for roof replacements. The manufacturer provides the material warranty. We give you written warranty documents so you can review what is covered, what is excluded, and whether registration is required.
We can compare available colors and styles with your existing roof. An exact match is not always possible because products change and older shingles fade. Look at a current physical sample before choosing; screen colors can look different in daylight.
Your project lead will confirm what needs to be moved or protected before materials arrive. That may include cars in the driveway, fragile items upstairs or in the attic, pets, sprinklers, and anything blocking a gate. Tell us about branches or equipment near the roof so we can plan around them.
One damaged area may only need a repair if the rest of the roof is still in good shape. Repeated leaks, damage across the roof, or problems with the wood underneath may call for replacement. Age alone is not a reason to replace a roof. We check what is happening, show you the findings, and explain the options.
We offer asphalt shingle, metal, and tile roofs. A GAF shingle proposal can include Timberline HDZ shingles, FeltBuster underlayment, WeatherWatch leak barrier, Pro-Start starter strips, and Seal-A-Ridge caps. We explain which choices suit your home, roof shape, budget, and preferred look. Your estimate names the products you are buying.
Your proposal lists any required permits and inspections, who handles them, and the included costs. The requirements depend on where you live and the work being done. You are responsible for any approval your HOA requires.
Rain can change the schedule. Before the old roof comes off, ask your project lead how the exposed roof will be protected, when work will pause, and who to contact if the forecast changes. Your roof’s layout and the weather both matter to that plan.
There is no single schedule for every roof. Age, nearby trees, earlier repairs, and recent weather all matter. Arrange a check after significant wind or hail, or if you notice a new ceiling stain, missing shingles, or gutters that are not draining.
A repair fixes a particular problem, such as damaged shingles or leaking flashing. Restoration can mean cleaning, sealing, or coating a roof that is suitable for that work. Replacement removes the old roofing and installs a new roof. Ask whether your roof is suitable for restoration and whether we currently offer the work it needs.
